This week hasn’t been much easier to get out of bed in the mornings. It’s not even that I’m battling whether to get up and workout because I know it’s going to happen. It’s more that I am delaying the painful inevitable. The rain isn’t helping matters either.
Once I was up, I was ready to go. Water, coffee, and a peanut butter wrap helped move things along, as did the not freezing temperatures in the morning.
My workout started with a body strength circuit that got the sweat flowing. I performed four sets of ten reps, ending with a few 30 second planks. For cardio, I jumped into the pool for a half hour of laps. Had I the time, I could have gone on for a long while, since I had a good stream going.
After readying for the day, I scrambled two eggs with a dash of cottage cheese. Toast with butter and jelly along with a bowl of you it accompanied the eggs. Quite delightful and
I have a few of these frozen Trader Joes meals in the freezer that I needed to start using, so I took one for lunch. It was chicken curry and rice, so I chopped up some peppers, cucumber, and carrots for my hit of veggies with hummus for dipping.
Dinner was kind of a weird assortment. Grilled tilapia with lemon pepper, sweet potato fries, cauliflower au gratin, and some broccoli equaled the meal.
It’s one of those weird days where it feels later in the week than it is. For the night, my mom and I worked on some bridal shower stuff that is very exciting!
